Uric Acid



The meaning of uric acid is a purine metabolic waste substances from the food we eat.It is also a byproduct of the breakdown of cells in the blood.

Purine itself is a substance found in every food that comes from living bodies. In other words, in the living body of the presence of these purines, and then because we eat theliving, hence the move to the purine substances in our body. Various vegetables andfruits also contained purine. Purine also resulted from the destruction of body cells whichoccur normally or because of certain diseases.

Normally, uric acid will be released in the body through the stool (feces) and urine, butbecause the kidneys are unable to remove uric acid that is causing rising levels in the body. Another thing that can raise levels of uric acid is we consume too much food thatcontains lots of purines. Excess uric acid which will then accumulate in joints, causingpain or swelling.

Patients with gout after undergoing appropriate treatment can be treated so that the levels of uric acid in the body back to normal. But because the body there is the potential buildup of uric acid, it is recommended to control food intake so as to avoidfoods that contain lots of purines.

Symptoms of Gout
Tingling and pains
Pain, especially at night or early morning waking
Joints affected by uric acid visible swelling, redness, heat and incredible pain at nightand morning.

Overcoming Uric Acid Solution
Take medication until the uric acid levels returned to normal. Normal levels are 2.4 to 6for women and 3.0 to 7 for men.

Control of food consumed.
Drink plenty of water. With plenty of drinking water, we can help to remove purines in the body.
